Fight Frizz This Fall and Keep Your Blowout Flawless

Fall brings cozy sweaters, crisp mornings, and yes, frizz. The cooler air and fluctuating humidity can make your hair feel puffy, staticky, or rough, which is why your blowouts may feel harder to maintain this time of year. The good news is that smoother, longer-lasting blowouts are completely doable with the right approach. It all comes down to one thing: cuticle control.

When the hair cuticle is sealed, your blowout lasts longer and looks shinier. When the cuticle is open or rough, moisture sneaks in and creates frizz. Below is a simple routine you can start using right away for smoother results at home.

Step 1: Start in the shower. Choose a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to give your hair moisture before you even pick up a blow dryer. This helps prevent static and keeps your ends from getting puffy.

Step 2: Prep with the right products. Apply a heat protectant and a smoothing product to damp hair. Step 4: Use tension when you dry The more tension you create with your round brush, the smoother your cuticle will lay. This is the key to preventing frizz and creating that salon-quality finish.
